About the Founder

My name is Jim McCormick. I am a computer engineer who worked for HP and then Intel for almost 24 years. (See my Linked In profile). This site arose as an intersection of some of my passions and interests. I am passionate about truth, and understanding good data is part of seeking truth. I have always enjoyed teaching, and I will attempt to educate myself and others with this site. I am interested in and have begun exploring serverless cloud computing on Google's platform. I wrote the code that automatically updates this website's spreadsheets and charts using this platform. I am also interested in and have been exploring economics, finance, and investing for many years. The charts I will likely initially focus on will be the ones I find relevant to these topics. I am interested in many other topics as well, and I anticipate that the categories of charts on this site will grow over time.
